Branch Mills is the name of the village we live in.  The village is split down the middle by the towns of China and Palermo, both in the wonderful state of Maine.  The "Branch" is the west branch of the Sheepscot River, on which beautiful Branch Pond is now situated because of some of our ancestors meddling with mother nature.  The aforementioned meddling produced the "Mills", no longer in use.
